As far as content, this book is going to be my new go-to garden planning reference. Barbara covers gardening basics, timelines for planting, timelines for food storage, information on canning, drying and other preservation methods. Then the majority of the book focuses on individual crops and tells you how many to plant for each member of your family, how to preserve your harvest and what to actually do with all that produce!
