About the author

Lisa Bell is a freelance writer of both fiction and non-fiction works. Recently retired, she covered two of nine markets for NOW Magazines, LLC. She also provides all types of editing and publishing services to other authors, especially those seeking independent publishing. Her true passion includes helping women find their true identity by breaking chains from the past and walking in freedom as women of God. But she welcomes like-minded men, who share that passion for the women in their lives. Whether through fiction or non-fiction, she loves using words in the process. Her publishing credits include electronic and print articles, devotionals, multiple books and contributing stories as well as an unmentionable amount of technical writing during a former season, which she prefers not to share even if she could.
Lisa was born in Abilene, Texas in October 1960, the youngest of four children. She currently lives near the DFW Metroplex where she serves as a leader and writing coach to two groups of writers. Loving teaching as much as writing, she speaks to groups whenever possible. A mother of four daughters, she now has 13 grandchildren. When not working or writing, she enjoys all types of crafts, playing board games, going for walks or hikes, and spending time with family and friends.

As Lisa shows in her masterful book, no one imagines themselves homeless. But then, few people assume homelessness to be their own experience. Realizing we carry the seeds of homelessness is a small but vital step to facing what it means to be homeless. And how to escape it.
Well done.
