I almost lost it when the author admits to having consulted a pet psychic. But, I can understand how someone who is grieving the loss of a dog might not be completely rational.
One of the things about inviting a dog into your life is that they do not live especially long and at some point they will be gone, usually way too soon. But, that is part of living with a dog. Enjoy your dog while you can.
A freebie I got recently.
Also funny! I loved the part about going from a queen sized bed to king - for Homer and him being a lifeguard for a dog friend of his.
It's easy to see why this book has received such high reviews. Just sorry that Homer didn't have any little ones that we could follow their story too.
Lastly, the author's telling of the tale was great.
It gave me great pleasure to read this book because it has been written from the heart. Books like these can make you think and re-evaluate your life. You can learn a lot about life and love from Homer!
Pets are friends and we can learn so much from them.
Lots of great pictures in this book and you can tell Andy really loved his dog. Well done, well done!
