Logan met Tessa when he gave her a ride into town after an accident. Later, they find out there is a familial connection. He is friends with her brother. What he does not understand, is how he is so attracted to her even after she has rejected him repeatedly.
Tessa is not wanting to move home. She does not want anything to stop her from meeting her goals. Her family is relentless. Logan makes her feel things she has not felt for a while. Is it worth taking this chance?
This was a bit of a slow burn. It starts off with a bang, but kind of mellows out, and gets running again. The characters are both strong, but their chemistry burns high. I was kind of waiting for a burn out. Luckily for me, this is an author who never disappoints.

To be honest, this wasn’t a favorite of mine.
There’s Tessa and Logan, spending a week at a cabin with Tessa’s family. Tessa lives in NYC, and has no interest in going back to her hometown to settle. Something her family doesn’t agree, all they want is for her to come back for good. Have to say, I wasn’t a fan of that at all. Enough already, people, she doesn’t want to live there, let her be for once. It was super annoying, and kinda ragey, the way they treated her, with zero respect, imo. I didn’t find it endearing or anything, it was just annoying and disrespectful that they couldn’t be happy and supportive of her.
Things start to develop and chance for Tessa, which I get, but like she says in the end, it’s HER choice, no one else’s.
Now, since she was there for a week with her family, it also kind of sucked that she was constantly complaining about it. It wasn’t such an obligation, she could’ve said no and leave the cabin.
I did like Logan, he was clueless to what was going on, but that made him more endearing to my eyes. He just wanted a quiet and happy life, nothing wrong with that. Too bad he was in the middle of this family meddling.
There were some entertaining moments, but all in all, I found myself skipping a lot, just because the family annoyed me to no end, and Tessa’s whining became a little too much for me.

Tessa has moved away from her little hometown to Manhattan to see if she can get her art work noticed. Logan, personal trainer, has moved from Manhattan to Tessa's little hometown since he could not compete with the personal trainer store chains. Logan is working temporarily as a physical education teacher but hopes to start his own business as a personal trainer in this little town.
Tessa's family are always trying to get her to move back home. Her family goes beyond most families boundaries to get what they want. Tessa's family has a camping trip scheduled. Logan has been invited to this camping trip too. When Tessa and Logan meet sparks fly but not necessarily good sparks. As they spend more time together on this camping trip the good sparks start to fly. Will Tessa and Logan give in to this attraction? Their romance is an interesting ride.
I could relate to Logan but had a hard relating to Tessa. I think some of the ways the story played out was just odd. Overall, the story was good with humor, extreme chemistry, and romance. FYI, contains mature content.
This was such a fun and light story! There was a lot of humor that had me laughing out loud. I loved the initial meeting between Tessa and Logan. They had instant chemistry from the start. Logan was so sweet - great book boyfriend material. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun, sweet romance!
