About the Author
Lois Lavrisa is the author of LIQUID LIES, an Eric Hoffer Finalist Award winner and Amazon Kindle bestselling mystery. The first two books in her Chubby Chicks Club cozy mystery series, DYING FOR DINNER ROLLS and MURDEROUS MUFFINS, were both Kindle bestsellers, won Readers’ Favorite Awards, and were nominees for Georgia Author of the Year in 2014 and 2015. When not writing, Lois Lavrisa juggles her packed schedule as well as those of her four children, while trying to find time for a date night with her husband. Lois often daydreams about taking a year, or more, off and traveling the world, laughing, eating and exploring her way through one hundred and ninety six plus countries. Right now, though, she’d take going away for a night.

Priscilla (otherwise known as the wicked witch of the west) was one of the supervisors, and she was definitely a pain to everyone around her. A few days into the week long camp she was found dead. Was it an accident? Murder? Of course Annie Mae is determined to get to the bottom of this - much to the dismay of the police (again).
And so we are off on the next little adventure with Annie Mae and Bezu (who is providing the food for the camp). It is a fun story once again with several possible suspects and a very limited time frame to solve the mystery of the death. No one is safe. If it was murder, what is to prevent the guilty party from returning? So everyone is a little edgy, but the show must go on (as they say).
Again, this is a completely stand alone book, but several characters are found in all three books. However, one does not have to read the other stories to understand the next one: no story is left hanging or carried over to the next.
I was able to finish this in a few hours so pick a quiet spot and settle back for another enjoyable read.
I must say this is the first time I‘ve read a cozy little mystery. My genre is usually biographies, historical novels, thrillers, cook books or books on health. I found it easy reading and very quickly got caught up in the story, and I soon learned to dislike the victim and smiled when she “got it.” The story line was easy to follow as it led the reader to different conclusions and I was surprised by the ending.
I recommend it as a book that gives one a good feeling when it ends.
Ella Mae Rayner
All in all, the book is a nice cozy mystery with a few fun Shakespearean quotes thrown in for good measure.

Brilliant for when you are unwell and just need something. Nothing to make you think. Can she beat the killer before she dies?
