About the Author

Willard W. Olson grew up on a ranch in the native tall grass prairie of the Flint Hills of East Central Kansas.

He has degrees in Biology and Chemistry.  For most of the past 40 years, he has concentrated upon neuroscience.  During that time, he has been a consultant to several major microelectronics and computer corporations on the relationship of brain and computer architectures.  He also conceived and developed one of the first U.S. Patents for computer image recognition based upon his work on the biochemistry of biological memory.

The author is an avid fisherman and a fan of many sports especially college football and professional baseball.

He lives with his wife, Joan, in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
