Honda genuine fluids are the exact original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fluids that your vehicle came with. When you select a genuine OEM fluid - you can rely on the high quality and effectiveness of the product and brand without having to guess if the product will work in sequence with your vehicle. Protecting your investment is important and choosing the right fluids can be challenging. So don't risk another minute by searching and buying something that might work. Stick with what you know and choose a genuine OEM Honda fluid.

You'll need at least 3 bottles for a full flush, even then the fluid will be dark quite fast, but this stuff is too expensive to keep flushing until clear. It will improve your power sheering as long as you don't have any other problems, such as a leaky/bad rack or pump. If you neglect any power steering issues, the broken parts need to be replaced to be restored the the original operating feel.
This was bought to flush the power steering on a Honda with 180,000 miles that has slightly stiff steering from never having a flush before. It's improved but not perfect. I recommend flushing your power steering every 100,000 miles.
I have a 1993 Honda Prelude with 171k miles on it. There is definitely a noticeable difference after the change. Other reviews say it's expensive, but I'd rather take $8 than a visit to the mechanic any day.
For those non-car fixing buffs like me, it is very easy to use. I make no guarantees, but chances are you are going to be able to do it on your own.
Very happy with this purchase. 100% chance I will purchase this again when the need arises. (Plus now I know to keep an eye on it!)
Don't risk leaking seals and pump failure with the generic fluids.
The only problems worse than the generics are NO fluid or contaminated fluid.
The OEM Honda transmission, power steering, and axle fluids are your best insurance against failure and huge service expenses.
While you can get aftermarket brand fluids that LOOK like the genuine Honda product, can you really be sure that they will perform the same? If you roll the dice and lose, you could be in for a hefty repair bill. Wanna risk it? I didn't. My Honda fluid performs like the factory fill, because it IS the factory fill. Here at Casa de NotSteve, we have three Honda vehicles (not counting my CBR1000RR), and they all get the genuine article as far as power steering fluid goes.
