I didn't read the previous stories cuz I didn't realise there were any. Usually when there is a series of the same story line they are numbered. Now in this case I am glad they weren't cuz I'm glad I didn't spend any more money on this series. There are so many things I really didn't like about this story. I've read hundreds of wolf shifter stories and in all of them if there was a question of two guys wanting the same woman (unless they were willing to share) There was a challenge between the guys to fight. When this story finally got to what actually really happened my mouth just fell open. WTH. How could a woman's parents think that letting two men getting their daughter off to see who made her come harder, especially with a family member beinging the judge whether his back was turned or not, actually be considered a test? Come on (no pun intended). Obviously the man she cared about would win so why the hell not just let her pick in the first place even if it isn't the guy they wanted her to marry? Her taking off for a couple of years should have been a clue. Also, a little back story on Darlene and how she seems to be independantly wealthy would have been nice. The whole tone of this story was way off for me. Another thing I've never come across before was a fat wolf, whether he had turned furry yet or not cuz he still would have had the metabolisim. It's like the author just throws in anything she wanted to to fit the story the way she needed it to. The third thing that really irritated me was the whole way the three got together, mostly Rafe. He wanted all the guys screwing Darlene and it took him getting almost being beaten to death to realize she was his life mate, huh. Lucky knew pretty much right away. The sex scenes were uninspired even tho they all kept saying how "amazing" it was. The two good things I liked about the story was that they did not use crude terms for Darlene's girl parts, and that the story was only 94 pages long. Unfortunately, there were several other things I didn't like about the story or the way it was written, but I don't want to spend any more time on this. This is only the third unfavorable review that I have written, I would much rather write a good one. I can't recommend this story or this series for that matter.
