Ok look at the photo I uploaded.... Look at this training underwear compared to a Huggies Easy Ups. The Honest Company undies are built to fit an elephant! No elastic in the sides so the sides can't conform or shape to your kid's hips. They just fall off!! The butt and crotch fits but the waist is like women's size Large underwear??! WTH! Doesn't even make sense.

This was a waste of $40 for me. I got the box in the mail today and promptly opened it since we had just ran out of the other ones we had... these are huge. The 2t-3t in this brand is bigger than a 4t-5t of all the other brands we've tried. I've included pictures for reference. The Honest one is the 2t-3t purchased for my 18 month old and is compared to a Parents' Choice 4t-5t leftover from her brother's potty training days. I'm disappointed.

I'm gonna throw it out there... I'm kinda impressed with honest brand nappies and training pants... Decided to take a break from huggies for a minute (one can only put their daughter in Minnie Mouse panties so many times before said person wants to vomit at the sight of the same images day in and day out...), and ordered some butt faeries (they have a faery print...) for my toddler to wear... Not even an hour into her first pair, she, of course, decided to loose the poop monster (and we are talking a respectable bowel movement for a toddler!), and I am very happy to say that the honest panties didn't even consider leaking out of the legs, back or front! 😂
My daughter is 2 years old, but large for her age, and the 4t/5t fit her perfectly! AND... She loves having faeries on her panties! ❤

Never leaked... thin material

I tried these on my two year old son for a little over a week. Only for day time. Overall they did a good job. We did not have any leaks. He has sensitive skin and these did not bother him in any way. The design is cute. I gave it four stars for two reasons. First, they are not the softest, not rough either, but could be softer in my opinion. Second and probably the biggest reason I left off a star is how thin the sides are. It’s difficult to “pull up” using the sides as you would underwear. It feels as though it will tear. Where I never actually ripped one putting it on him, I felt the need to pull up slower and easier because of how thin they feel. Some may appreciate that and it seemed to be more comfortable under my sons clothes, however I didn’t like that aspect for putting it on. Like I said to begin with though... they never leaked one time. They did the job pretty well.

made differently from dinosaur honest pull-ups

I usually purchase the dinosaur version of these toddler training pants in size 4T/5T. The unicorn ones are made very different. The unicorn ones have a lot more elastic on the sides which seems like it could accommodate different waist sizes better than the dinosaur ones which have a stretchy material, but no elastics. However, I believe the elastics probably create more waste for our landfills..? These training pants are very absorbent, which is great, unless you are actively trying to potty train. In which case, they might as well be diapers that you can pull up and down. The child will not feel the difference. They do not have velcro on the sides which is good for itchy sensitive skin, but not good when you have to put a new one on and go through the getting pants and shoes on and off. They do tear very easily when you need to get them off, yet they don't tear when kids are wearing them.

Overall good product.

Update: Changed my original review from 3 stars to 5. The newer design is fitted much better.

These ones are ok. However, I like the fit of the newer style better. These ones are a little loose on my 2 year old. But she hasn’t had any leaks in them. A pack lasts us about two weeks since she only wears one at nap time and bedtime.

Really good product, it’s helped me greatly for overnights. Since we stopped using cloth diapers, we switched to using seventh generation (or honest as my next best choice) pull-ups for nights n naps. Since beginning preschool this fall, we’ve been using honest for their ease of use for school naps, and they’re wonderful. Now we are on our last package and she hasn’t been wearing them to bed!

I can’t say that they’re helpful with potty training during the day, though, because I personally, or rather, we, tried that route for a while and regressed, so I just wouldn’t suggest using pull-ups of any sort for learning to use the potty as your sole purpose.

Absorbency isn’t 5 stars specifically because they will absolutely leak if your child doesn’t fit them perfectly. My LOs legs weren’t thick enough for the elasticity to do anything for keeping the pee in at first, but now fits them perfectly and the absorbency has been phenomenal.

So try a small package of honest first before you buy in bulk so you know whether or not this would pose a problem for you too and adjust your size accordingly :)
