Honeymoon in Paris (A Paris Romance) MP3 CD – Unabridged, September 1, 2015
The sassy heroine of Sleeping with Paris is back! And this time, chocolate-covered French wedding bells are in the air....
It’s only been a month since Charlotte Summers reunited with her sexy French boyfriend, Luc Olivier, and the two lovebirds have already decided to take the plunge into wedded bliss. Charlotte is madly in love, and Luc is clearly the one, so what could possibly go wrong?
As it turns out, quite a lot...
On the heels of their drama-filled nuptials in the French Alps, Luc whisks Charlotte away to Paris for a luxurious honeymoon. But just as they are recovering from their mad dash to the altar, a surprise appearance by Luc’s drop-dead gorgeous ex-wife brings the festivities to a halt. Luc never told Charlotte that his ex was a famous French actress, or that she was still in love with him.
Determined to keep her independence and her sanity, Charlotte begins writing a book entitled The Girl’s Guide to Tying the French Knot. With chocolate, French wine, and fabulous girlfriends by her side, Charlotte navigates the tricky waters of marriage, secrets, ex-wives, and career all in a foreign country where, she quickly realizes, she never truly learned the rules.

Charlotte’s sexy French boyfriend Luc Olivier has made a proposal of a lifetime in the town of Annecy. Annecy is the most charming, romantic town in the French Alps. Luc whisks Charlotte away to Paris for a luxurious honeymoon. So what could possibly go wrong?
Who would think while on their honeymoon, they would run into Luc’s ex wife Brigitte. A beautiful young actress promoting her new movie and dating a man named Vincent Boucher. Luc never told Charlotte that his ex wife was a famous French actress or that she was still in love with him. Luc also left out the part about Vincent knowing Luc’s family and Luc growing up with the Boucher brothers. The famous actors, Marcel and Nicolas Boucher.
Luc wants to leave his past in the past and just enjoy the last days of their honeymoon. Their was definitely something fishy going on with the Boucher’s, something Luc did not want Charlotte to know.
Charlotte’s two best friends Fiona and Lexi return from Sleeping with Paris. The characters are so much fun to read about. We should all be lucky enough to have a best friend like Charlotte! She is strong willed, independent, and fun. The girls get caught up in a humiliating debacle in the French tabloids and the paparazzi is constantly watching them. Oh what fun……….actors, paparazzi, corrupt business men. This book has it all.
While Charlotte is trying to get to the truth, she seeks a position at Bella Magazine’s new France office while she is working on a sassy guide book to French Marriage. Luc’s secret past threatens Charlottes career and their future together. What else is going on besides all of this ex wife drama?? So much more!
Juliette Sobanet provides so much information for those who have not read Sleeping with Paris. You will not feel lost jumping into this book, in fact you will not be able to put it down.
Juliette Sobanet gives you the feeling you are on vacation in Paris. We just love her at Girliemom! You will not be able to put this book down. This book has love, adventure, and suspense. We promise you will be craving a chocolate croissant, nutella crepe and a tall glass of wine.
This book is fast paced and full of wit, the story line kept me interested and engaged right from the beginning. I found myself cheering Charlotte on, hoping that she would not give up on Luc even though he has so many secrets, I don't want to give too much away but it turns out that Charlotte does not know Luc quite as well as she thought she did. Did Charlotte make a mistake marrying Luc? So many things about Luc that don't add up keep happening and Charlotte along with the help of her friends, is left playing detective.
The friendship between Charlotte and her best friends is well written, I always like to see strong female friendships in books. The characters are well-developed and the writing is very descriptive in regards to food and scenery.
This book has lots of twists and turns but at the same time it is a fun and happy read with a surprise ending!
I hope that Juliette Sobanet will write more books in this series!
Last but not least my favorite character in the book is......Lexi! Why you may ask? Lexi is the sassiest of them all and the character I would most likely invite to a party.
I gave this book 4.5 stars!
This book is a fast, suspenseful, fun read full of great descriptions of places, food, and people. The women in this story instantly become friends, and the suspense that is brought into this installment is expertly crafted. I found my heart swooning for Charlotte and Luc, breaking with the secrets kept, beating fast through the intense climax, and laughing throughout the story with the wonderful banter that is Miss Sobanet’s character of Charlotte.
If you are looking for a quick, happy read that will transport you to France, and leave you with a group of people that you wish you knew pick up Honeymoon in Paris.

Sorry, it was the Juliette Sobanet books that I disliked, not the Rachel Hore book A Week in Paris. Far too confusing with the same titles as I read so many books.
Especially loved the very good links (not weak and unbelievable) to Kissed in Paris, and can't wait for the next book bringing them all together!
Highly recommend for a lighthearted read that makes you smile and long for an authentic pain au chocolat.
