This Honeywell 2000-Watt portable inverter generator is a perfect fit for anyone who needs power on the go. Lightweight and easy to move with the built-in handle, a Honeywell inverter easily travels to wherever power is needed. It utilizes some of the latest technology available for power as clean as utility power and includes a handy battery charger. The 126cc, 4-Stroke OHV engine delivers super-quiet performance and excellent fuel economy, packing more power generation per pound than standard portable generators. Hosting a tailgate party or planning a camping trip? Include your Honeywell inverter to power appliances, TVs, laptops, or other equipment that requires power.
Compact in design, the Honeywell 2000-6066 gas-powered portable inverter generator is designed for life on the road. Its durable, lightweight design with built-in handle offers portable power for camping, tailgating, and recreational use. The 2000-6066 features inverter technology that reduces the size, weight, and noise of the generator and allows for the engine to run at varying speeds, significantly reducing the noise and fuel consumption levels. And its special electronic microprocessor can also provide safe, stable power for sensitive electronic devices such as computers.
The 2000-6066 provides a reliable 2,000-watt power supply wherever you need it and a maximum power output of 2,250 watts, and yet it's 40 percent lighter than a standard generator of equal wattage output. It features Honeywell's exclusive EcoMode feature, which saves fuel and reduces noise after startup by adjusting engine speed to meet demand. If the power needs are low, the engine will run more slowly, resulting in a quieter and more fuel-efficient unit.
Note for California residents: This model is not CARB-compliant. Units sold to California must be CARB-compliant.
The case is fully enclosed for quiet operation--making it campground friendly--and its integrated handle makes it easy to move from car to camp site. It's equipped with a 4-stroke, 126-cc OHV (overhead valve) engine, which features a low-oil shutdown system to prevent engine damage and keep the generator in good shape for long-term use.
This generator's 1-gallon fuel tank will give you up to 4.7 hours of operation at a 50-percent load. Other features include splash lubrication, 12-volt battery charging capability, and electronic overload protection. It's backed by a 2-year residential warranty, and a 6-month warranty when used for commercial purposes.
Inverter Wattage Needs
When choosing a portable generator, it's important to identify the starting watts of all the devices you might power at the same time. Some devices draw additional power as they get up and running. If this additional wattage is not accounted for, system overload can result. To determine your requirements for a portable generator, see this wattage chart sample.
How Inverter Technology Works
Inverter generators utilize a different type of alternator than standard generators to generate AC power. The raw power produced is converted from DC to AC power by a computer-controlled inverter module. The engine speed varies depending on the electrical demand, which significantly reduces noise and fuel consumption compared to a standard portable generator. The end result is a portable generator with reduced weight and size, and power that is ultra-clean and capable of safely powering sensitive electronics.

Besides that I need to buy the oil and there is no specification
Is there a representative in Brazil?
Until now no contact fromHoenywell
In the 3 years I have had it, I haven't had another power failure to really test how well it works under the conditions for which I purchased it. If I were superstitious, I'd say having a backup emergency generator on hand prevents outages! For me, the peace of mind it gives me is worth the price. I can't compare it with other comparable brands. It seems to work fine and the price is competitive.
I keep 2 five gallon gas cans stored in my shed with conditioner in the gas to make it last. Every 6 months, I put in a little gas and run the generator until it is out of gas. I then put the old gas in my car and buy new gas. It takes ten or so pulls of the starter rope to get it going. This routine takes about an hour, but it keeps my gas fresh and the generator limbered up.
Maybe I will never have to give it a tough extended use test, but the generator is worth a lot to me to have the peace of mind that I can get through an emergency if necessary. I understand that the inverter feature is worthwhile because it conserves fuel and protects devices that are plugged in. I have decided to have a manual transfer switch installed ($400) so that the generator will be able to power my gas furnace's fan in the event of a cold weather emergency. For other appliances (refrigerator, fans, electronics) I will just run extension cords around the house.
On the whole, for me, a good purchase.
I only ordered one five gallon canister and filled it before the hurricane arrived.
I had hoped I would not need ot use it but unfortunately our house flooded with a foot of water.
I started the generator the next morning and was pleased to see how easy it was to fill and operate.
Note: You have to add the included engine oil prior to the first use - so factor in that extra time!
With one gallon of fuel the generator ran two half horse power pumps for over 5.5 hours!
I ran the generator for three consecutive days and still had some fuel left.
I was pleased with the noise level. I ran the genrator in both the economy mode and regular mode.
I suggest to use the regular mode because the frequent turning on and off can become annoying.
Anoter plus is the fact that the generator creates clean power (very low voltage fluctuations) - i.e. you can charge electronics like cell phones and laptops.
Only negative I would have tio point out is the fact that the generator is not designed to run in the rain so you need to use an umbrella etc.
Also, please read the safety instructions and DO NOT run indoors etc.
I would recommend this generator to everyone and would definitely buy it again.
