Excellent, just like all Honeywell Security equipment.

This is a standard LCD keypad (non-alpha). It's not an alpha keypad needed for programming. It also has a 16-zone wireless receiver built in for honeywell's tried and true 5800 series wireless. One feature this has that a standalone 5800 does not have, is the ability to enroll 5804/5834 keyfobs directly into the keypad instead of enrolled into the panel where each fob eats up 4 zones. That means that keyfobs can be set up to not eat up 4 zones each in the panel and receiver. The 6150 also has a normally-open relay that can be triggered by a keyfobs button. This is meant to connect to your garage door opener so it can be opened/closed with a 5804/5834 keyfob. I've done this before, it works great.

This is backwards-compatible with nearly all Ademco, Honeywell, and First Alert Professional equipment, from the old 4110 panels, the old SE panels, the 15p/20p, First Alert 1xx series, and dealer-branded equipment.

I personally recommend having a full alpha 6160, 6460, or 6162 keypad as your "main" keypad and putting the RF keypad in an upper floor bedroom so that the receiver is up high.

I ordered 4 of these for a new system I was installing in our vacation home. It took a little while for me to get around to install them. 3 of the 4 worked fine. I trouble shot the non-working one and found it was defective. By then, several months had passed, so I was beyond to time period to return to Amazon. I sent that back to the company under warranty. The was 6 weeks ago. I still have heard nothing. I fear I maybe out of luck.

Honeywell is generally a great product but I waited too long to install this defective keypad. Upon startup for programming, there was only a partial display. I was programming keypad essentially blind since I could not see the entire display code and my entries. I suggest you power up the unit before the return period (month) expires.

Keypad looked like NEW-In-Box but the display does not work properly. Only shows 1/2 numbers when displaying a Zone. Can only use as a slave and not something a customer could use. Should have returned!!!!

My alarm guy replaced my old Ademco alarm with this one, but this new model still uses mysterious alarm codes. It's been giving me an error code for a zone I do not even have, and there's no way for me to disable the system... it's been a pain this whole long weekend. Now I'm getting an FC error code. It's 2014, they should really give customers systems that human customers can understand. How can they expect us to get professional help 24x7? It's been a nightmare since we had this installed Friday.

Is perfectly compatible as a replacement for my old keypad that had been in place for about 15 years. I really like the larger buttons as my former keypad had buttons about 1/2 the size..

The price was good and the shipping was quick. The product is what was needed and they all functioned as designed. We would do it again if required.

Turns your Honeywell alarm into a wireless transmitter receiver for the wireless devices including Key Fobs. AND gives you a working keypad!
