This book is the third and last book in the Bellevue Bullies series. Although we all hope she isn't really done with them. It involves Jace Sinclair, the last of the three brothers, hoping to follow his other brothers into the NHL. That is his end goal and no one, especially not a girl, is going to get in the way. Avery comes from a hockey family full of drama. She came to Nashville to be a singer/song writer while going to Bellevue. That is her end goal and no guy, especially a hockey player is going to stop her. What the two didn't plan on was meeting each other.
You really need to read this book to understand every word of their journey to falling in love. Every emotion is present in this book. You will laugh and do plenty of crying. What these two have been through make their journey all the more awe inspiring.
Review Hooked By Love book three in The Bellvue Bullies series is lets just say was Incredible.
Jace Sinclair youngest of the Sinclair's is in his last year of college and ready to shine and to make all his hard work pay off by becoming an NHL player like his two older brothers. What he doesn't expect is to meet Avery Rose.
Avery Rose a young woman looking to make her way in life to get away from a past that was not so happy and to do finally what she always wanted to be the next up and coming rising star in Nashville., but what she doesn't expect is to meet the Captain of The Bellvue Bullies.
Jace sees Avery leaning up against a tree singing and not only is he taken by her voice he is taken by her beauty and the instant connection is off the charts but sometimes looks can be deceiving and what is in the inside can sometimes not make you see the turmoil.
The one thing for sure is that Jace is so self confident of his emotions when it comes to Avery that all he wants to do is show her what being special means and if fighting for that is what it takes everyone should have a Jace Sinclair in their corner. This is the final book of this incredible series we have met all three brothers and each of them have had a special story of there own but when you read this final book you will say that Toni has scored a HAT TRICK.
If you are looking not just for a book but a series that will have you laughing out loud at times, reaching for the tissues at other times but will most definitely have you saying I wish there was more than this is the one you don't want to miss.
I have to say the banter is what does me in with this book. I was laughing out loud and giggling at the antics between Jace and his brothers, but I knew they would be there for one another at the drop of a puck. The love between the Sinclair siblings is AMAZING. I felt like I was apart of their conversations and enjoyed their ribbing of one another. It was just like an everyday family. Then you have the opposite side of the spectrum with Avery’s family. I never saw her as weak through the book. She was an even match for Jace and I don’t think any woman could suit him better. I wanted to kick her brother Matty’s a$$. It is not all cut and dry though, there is a fair share of drama, but it flowed perfectly and kept me entertained without over doing it. There were real issues, and some heart wrenching kind, but Toni writes with grace and compassion. It makes Jace and Avery’s pain tug just enough on your heart strings, but not too much.
I love the humor, wit, and love in this book. Jace and Avery become an unstoppable team together and I felt it.Read more ›
Avery and Jace are two very driven characters. Both are in college and have big dreams and big goals and don’t need any distractions along the way. Avery Rose has a dream to be a singer/songwriter. Coming from a family of hockey players with brothers whose dreams were always more important than hers, she’s determined to make it on her own. Jace Sinclair has huge footsteps to follow. His older brothers both made it in the NHL first draft. He’s all about hockey. This is his year and nothing will get in his way.
Then they meet each other… and everything changes. Avery never expected to fall for this oh so charming hockey player with all the right lines. She decides it is okay to kind of date him (Javery… ;)) but her heart can’t get involved. Jace is smitten right away with Avery. It’s love at first sight for him. He never in a million years thought a girl could steal his heart at first glance, but it happened.
Jace and Avery fell quick and they fell hard. As much as she tried to fight it, it couldn’t be stopped. Yes. There is a good bit of ‘insta love’ in this one. But for the most part, it worked. I loved that these two found that they could have each other without sacrificing their dreams, wants and desires. That is what true love is. They had many obstacles to overcome, Avery’s past, her family, Jace’s dad, and some other things that surprisingly pop up along the way. It really puts their love and devotion to the test.
Jace Sinclair is a stand up guy.Read more ›

I instantly fell in love with Jace. That's kind of sick since I am old enough to be his mother. I can sympathize with Avery. I've been in her shoes (minus a small detail). Read morePublished 1 month ago by Tyra Thrower
