Georgiana questioned her heart but sometimes was not sure of herself but eventually she suddenly realized the importance of her own mind and what and who she wanted in her life.
I loved the part that was incorporated in the story about the,"Prodigal Son" and the change that occurred to Clyde and it made him a better person and closer to his brother. Another important part of the novel was when the brothers, Clyde and Benjamin Pastel discussed, "The Golden Rule" and this bringing in another Christian part of the Bible, treat others the way you want them to treat you.
There were twists and turns in this series but they all finished beautifully. I look forward to many more novels from Jeanna Ellsworth
I will cherish this trilogy as it gives great hope for the future of all of us not only in love but trust, family values and the human race.
She is having her debut – expected to begin her search for a husband. But she has been fooled before by a master manipulator. How will a shy girl know when love is real?
She questions her sister-in-law about her own experience:
“It starts off slow,” Elizabeth began, “like a sunrise. And just like a sunrise, you do not notice how it warms you from the inside out. But, little by little, things become clearer as the sun burns off the fog and lightens the landscape. It is a slow process. So slow in fact, that it is hard to say when the sunrise is over because the transition is so subtle.”
Georgiana becomes obsessed with sunrises.
This is Part 3 of the HOPE series. It can be understood as a stand-alone but I believe reading the first two books would add a great deal to this one. I do think this is the weakest of the series.
We have here a VERY low-angst story and it moves slowly in parts. Darcy still allows his pride to show. Georgiana must learn to trust herself. These are really the only conflicts in the book. I would rate this higher if it had more conflict. It’s a pretty little romance with strong Christian themes. HEAs all around!
God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars. ~Author unknown, commonly attributed to Martin Luther
But what made my overall opinion of this third book sink rapidly was the number of mistakes! Not just grammar (e.g. always "reign in" instead of "rein in"), but sometimes whole words were missing, other times there were words too much that problably stemmed from previous versions of the sentence. Sometimes a wrong letter in a sentence changed the whole meaning ("wasted" instead of "wanted"), etc. Obviously hardly any time was spent on proofreading this and it thoroughly dampened my overall experience of this book.
