About the Author
Indefatigable optimist Helen Worley lives near a pond in the small city of Blaine, WA just south of the US/Canada border, and an hour away from her hometown of Vancouver, BC. In her work Helen spent many hours with cancer patients; she cared for her first husband during his three bouts of the disease, nursing him at home during his last days; she then faced two separate cancer diagnoses herself. Her insights come from deep personal experience. Helen shares her enthusiasm for life in her writing and photographs, being constantly on the alert for the extraordinary in the ordinary. To see her art and to read her blog, visit www.helenworley.com. Hope Lives in a Garden is her first book.
