From the Author
Instead of highlighting a strong, fearless female lead, it features a very broken girl who's caught in a back-and-forth tug of war between hope and doubt. It takes her wading through much heartache and failure before ever finding redemption. But that's kind of the point.
My characters are intentionally a little raw. They wrestle lies and insecurities, make bad choices, and give in to doubts. They don't quote scripture or pray eloquent prayers, but they meet grace amid brokenness. Through that journey, they uncover truths, cultivate courage, and hold on to hope. This book is not intended to fit a classic Christian fiction mold, but my hope has always been that you'll find a moving and encouraging word that meets you where you are.

Emma and Riley face situations that make their relationship anything but easy. Riley continues to record in Nashville, but an ultimatum concerning his contract threatens the career he's been working so hard to establish. Meanwhile, Emma is doing everything she can to keep the Portland center above water for the kids that need it the most.
By the end of the book, I'd laughed, sighed at the wonderfully sweet moments, and cried. I have enjoyed going through this journey with Emma and Riley very much. While I'm sad that the series is over, I was left feeling satisfied. I may miss these characters, but it won't be goodbye forever, because this is one series I guarantee I'll be reading again.
Hope Unbroken, was a book that was emotional. I laughed, cried, and felt each moment while reading. I could not put it down from start to finish. This book while walking through Emma's journey spoke to the very bottom of my heart. It spoke truth, purpose, and hope to my soul, and reminded me throughout that some dreams are worth never giving up on!!
I wholeheartedly recommend Hope Unbroken. You will not be disappointed, and I know you will be refreshed and renewed while reading it!
Though I've been team Riley all along, I did feel sad for AJ. Seems like there's maybe a deeper story with that character?
