My Horizon treadmill stopped working after a couple years of very light use. It would power up but the belt would not run. My nephew determined that the motor was still good but the output signal from the board to the motor was too weak to power it. After debating whether it was worth the expense of this board or just to junk it and buy a new treadmill, I decided to replace the T83 Motor Control Board, hoping that it will not go out again due to flawed design or something. After replacing the board, my treadmill is running again! I also installed a dedicated 20 amp line, fearing that perhaps low line voltage may have caused the motor to draw too much current zapping the output transistors or something. I wish I knew more about electronics, perhaps I could have repaired the old board for a fraction of the cost of a replacement, but I am happy this board was available and hope it lasts longer than the last one! I rated it 3 stars as obviously I am disappointed by the lifespan of the original, but happy that he replacement got me up and running again!
