Update a week later:
Today is Tuesday. Received it last Wednesday. In just a week it grown more than three times of its size. Please check last two pictures I made a minute ago. I am more than amazed!

More than half arrived dead, but remaining ones are healthy with nice color. I combined those, that survived, with the ones I already had and now I have two nice bushes. Some are 4”, but most are 1-3”. Came with a lot of snails, but that is expected. Taking into consideration that all local stores are out of Hornwort, I would say that I am happy, that I got these.
I wish they could of added more water to the package and picked faster shipping. I was ok to pay even more for shipping, but oh well... it is what it is.

Looks a little rough right now

Is the single stem hornwort. Ordered in cold weather, no heat used. Arrived okay, nothing like picture, some browning, thinning, shedding. So not bright green and full bushy at this point. Will see how it turns out with all the shedding. May just need to get adjusted, will update.

Day 3 - looking good now, almost ready to arrange.
Day 5 - looks good, left some floating in other tank.
Now great! Looks not as full as pic but nice and green, growing fast! Tried planting above ground in 55g, but just shedded and messed up tank. Trying just floating to see how it does.

Hot summer and ignorant mailman played a big role

Out of 5 stems only two were usable.
A ton came loose during travel. My mailman left the package in a metal container, when the box clearly states to keep out of hot metal mailboxes.

The two that are salvageable are rather pretty. They are nice, green and lush. I have them with Cichlids in a 75 gallon. One plant reaches the top of my tank, which is around 22 inches.

If they all came like the two I put in my tank, I'd say it's worth the cost plus shipping.

Too many variables for me to try this again.

Dead torn pieces of brown plants

Natural way to remove nitrate

My first time buying live plants from Amazon. I did have to rinse them alot and cut off the brown portion. Didn't see any snails. It has been over a year now and they are still thriving. Growing faster than I can trim them. Nice to know they are keeping the water clean.

One bunch came completely dead but the rest of the batch is thriving. Despite being in a cool, dark axolol tank with temps hardly hitting 62f and getting 4 hours of sun a day, I've had to trim these growing monsters twice and propogate them to other parts of the tank. The rate at which these things grow is mad and in another week I'll have enough stema to make up for that one dead batch and then some.

Nitrates have dropped drastically as well, going from 40-50ppm to about 20 in just 2 weeks.

My plants look very close to the picture. I did pay the extra $2 to have the expedited delivery so that might've helped. I rinsed several times before putting in my tank to get rid of as many lose leaves as possible. Gorgeous and full - I only pinched off 1 section that was a little brown. The stems come nicely bunched with metal bands so they are ready to bury in the gravel. The picture I attached is literally right after I put them in the tank on the first day. UPDATE: Second picture is just 6 days after I received the plants. I separated into 2 sections, b/c they are so full.
