Editorial Reviews

A midnight showing of an early 1970's horror movie turns to chaos when the killer from the movie comes out of the film to attack those in the theater. A young woman is forced to re-live a traumatic childhood event, when a vacation in the woods turns into a nightmare with an ex-military sniper hunting them down. She now has to confront her inner demons to come out alive. Emma has a strong aversion towards her familys new house, especially the attic. After moving in, she becomes miserable and reclusive. The rest of her family also seems unhappy and unsettled. Emma is convinced that someone or something is haunting her, and she refuses to leave her house until she can piece the puzzle together. Based on a true story, Carver depicts the real life events of five 20-something's that went camping in the mountain town of Halcyon Ridge and never returned. Witness one of the most terrifying murder sprees ever to splash on screen. As you scream, you ll wonder what the killers could possibly do next...

4 out of 5- Midnight Movie
3 out of 5- The Attic
2.5 of 5- Carver
N/a- Outrage
What? Low ratings but 5 stars awarded, how so?
Midnight Movie is worth the price of admission. Is suspenseful and being set in an isolated movie theater adds to the atmospheric element of the film. The acting is ok, for the most part. While the protagonist isn't truly defined, the antagonist is aggressive and supernaturally delightful.

The Attic is a mixed bag of a movie, being based on a short story piqued my interest, it's worth one viewing if nothing else

They put all of the movies on one disc. So as you can an imagine the picture quality is not very good. Midnight Movie gets 3 stars out of 5 it is not to bad if you can get passed some bad acting, Carver is the rated R cut version so it gets 2 of 5. Have not watched The Attic or Outrage yet, but will update when I do
