Great unit, works very well.
I can't comment on the long term durability as I haven't had the product for long.

I took off one star, because of the price. Although the cables are great, for a mass production company like Hosa, I expect somewhat better prices.

Just a heads up, keep in mind this is passive unit, and you will experience voltage loses when multiplying your signal passively. But this is a known issue with any straight passive multiplier. So don't expect to use these for your pitch cv unless you don't mind the tuning instability that will result in the voltage loses. Works well for any other type of signal that doesn't require pitch accuracy.

If you're routing a signal to two or three places at once in a modular synth, you have a few options. You can spend rack space on a multiple, you can use cables like the TipTop Stackcables, or you can use these - the only TS 3.5mm pigtail cables that I'm aware of. In general, I like Hosa's patch cables; probably 3/4 of the cables in my modular at a given time are Hosas. Their cables are flexy enough to weave through a system, yet hold their weight enough to not turn to a droopy mess. These cables are no different, nor do they seem any less robust than standard Hosa patch cables. I have two packs of these Hopscotch cables - this set, and the set of all yellow (1.5ft). I hope these sell well enough that they'll start doing five-packs of the other lengths as well, I would jump on a package of just the short red ones.

I find it easier to visually follow the signal routing when using pigtail cables like these (compared to the Stackcables). I know a lot of people use Stackcables in patches where they simply anticipate possibly multing in another cable, and if you're using them without patching everything together straight-off, these are going to be considerably messier than Stackcables. Having a bunch of loose danglers hanging around can certainly be distracting. I think there's a time and a place for both types of multing cable, but more often than not, I'm using these.

It is worth noting that, because of the twin leads coming out of the one plug, that plug is rather fat and could possibly get in the way of others in a tightly-spaced Euro module. The single plug is just a normal Hosa plug, which are on the small side.
