I be;ieved the urban myth that Twinkies have a very long (many years) shelf life, so I bought these as a future surprise since the demise of Hostess. Wrong! They expire after 25 days!

I couldn't believe it. I opened the box to find that they were green and moldy and obviously not edible. I had to throw them away.

For what i spent for this product, i expected the twinkies to be edible; they came in a smashed box and once opened i get stale and moldy not edible twinkies;

Bought this for a friend returning from overseas when I found out that this was his favorite snack/sweet. He will be so surprised. Quick receipt. Well packed

We are military in Japan so getting these sent to us, even though they are ridiculously expensive was worth getting them for one last time:)

I might if I had the $$$, but I'd probably have to make them in Mexico or the unions would ruin our lovely cakes again.

Twinkie diet:
In 2010 a college professor named Mark Haub went on a "convenience store" diet consisting mainly of Twinkies, Oreos, and Doritos in an attempt to demonstrate to his students "that in weight loss, pure calorie counting is what matters most--not the nutritional value of the food". He lost 27 pounds over a 2-month period, returning his body mass index (BMI) to within normal range. lol

Its over people Twinkie are NOT coming back. "Nov 16 2012 news brief Hostess Brands Inc., the maker of Wonder Bread and Twinkies, announced today that it will liquidate because not enough striking employees returned to work by a Thursday evening deadline set by the company." via ABC news

R.I.P Twinkie we will tell our grand-kids about you...

People Twinkies are coming back to stores soon. Don't waste 99 dollars on this crap. I understand that people thought that Twinkies was done and gone forever. But now their is a new company that will produce your Twinkies. So please save your self the trouble and save your money.
