I just finished reading Sable Hunter's "Sweeter version" of "Hot on Her Trail!" What a great book! Sable is such a phenomenal writer and really cares about her readers. I have read all of her "Hell Yeah" series and have loved each story that unfolds about the fabulous and handsome McCoy Brothers. Some readers like different degrees of "Hot" in their books and Sable has listened. She is re-writing her HOT series in a sweeter version, so that her books will reach all readers who love contemporary love stories. "Hot on her Trail - Sweeter Version" is the second book in this great series. This book tells the story of a beautiful young girl named Jessie, who suffers from Dyslexia and was left penniless by her parents. In order to survive, Jessie takes a job as a surrogate mother to provide a baby for a childless couple, known as the McCays, in addition to her cleaning jobs. She allows her eggs to be impregnated by the husband's sperm. A series of incidents occur, one being that the Austin Cryobank mixes up the sperm of the donors and Jessie is impregnated by the wrong man. The wife of the childless couple, when finding out Jessie is not carrying their baby, insists that Jessie abort the baby. Jessie gives them back their money and runs for her life. When she finds out her baby's father is Jacob McCoy, who just happens to be one of the handsome and rich McCoy brothers, she sneaks onto their land, known as the Tebow Ranch, in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the man who fathered her baby. The first two times Jessie and Jacob meet, Jessie is always caught in the nude. Their meetings are sweet, tender and just hilarious!Read more ›

No, No, No... I read it because it was free. The story was broken up and choppy in most of the book. I guess it was trying to tell you stories of each brother so you will be interested in reading the other books about them. This was the first book I read by this author and I really wasn't impress at all. Not recommended for any type of money, sorry

Book 2 in Sable's Hell Yeah Sweeter Series brings us Jacob's story. Jacob finds himself yearning for a woman to love and raise a family with. Along comes Jesse, a virgin pregnant with Jacob's child! (Yes I said a virgin! You'll have to get the book to find out about this.)

I just loved Jacob in this story. The passion he feels for Jesse, despite the concerns from his family, is amazing.

Sable has managed to bring us another cowboy that's to hard to resist.

I am looking forward to reading about the remaining McCoy brothers!!

I highly recommend this entire series. Sable is a great writer. Romance, family, laughter, tears....oh yeah let's not forget the cowboys! :) You'll fall in love with the McCoy's! I've read the entire Hell Yeah series in the original erotic version and loved them all. Looking forward to reading the sweeter version of the entire series.

This is the 2nd book in Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah series which she converted into a "sweeter version". Sable has done an excellent job in taking the original version and making it appeal to more readers. You were introduced to all the McCoy Brothers in the first book, Cowboy Heat, but Jacob and Jess' story is told in this the 2nd book. You were introduced to Jess at the end of the first book but you learn so much more about her and the life she lived in the past with this book.

Jacob's love for Jess is undeniable and steadfast and unconditional. Jacob helps Jess to slowly overcome her insecurities about herself that her mother and stepfather ingrained in her most of her life. Jacob and Jess are the main focal point of the book but Aron and Libby's story continues plus you get glimpses into the lives of the other McCoy Brothers and what may lie ahead for each one of them as they each get their own book with their story in it.

Please don't hesitate to buy these books...You won't be sorry.

Jesse and Jacob's story is a great read! There is romance and a bit of intrigue. You also get to catch up on all of the other brothers in this story. I can't wait to see what develops in the lives of this wonderful family. Sable Hunter has once again given us a book to love over and over again!

I don't share the 4 and 5 star opinions. I enjoyed the book until I was 75% into it. Then when disturbing news came down the pipeline from the clinic, it was a huge disappointment. For me, this spoiled the whole book. The ending was ok but not what it could have been if the news had been different. It actually made me very sad. Hadn't Ms Montgomery been through enough heartache? Could there not be one very precious, special thing happen for her and Jacob? I certainly did not feel good about it after I completed it. Was quite troubling.
