I've always maintained a very clean house being a germaphobe, everything is nearly spotless. You can imagine my surprise when two weeks ago I started waking up daily with extremely itchy painful welts on my body. My back, my arms, and legs were mostly the target. They would be in patterns of 1-3. After managing to stay clear of this bed bug epidemic, I finally came to terms That I have bed bugs... I bought this and the spray in hopes of getting rid of these suckers. I sprayed in every corner, nook and cranny, all over my futon, walls, and the following morning I saw one of them trying to escape the smell by climbing to the very top where the wall and ceiling meet. I was hoping that was the end of it and it was just that one that happened to stumble into the wrong place but the following day I got bit some more, totalling to 12 bites in less than two weeks. I bought the hot shot fogger and released two cans of them (in a single room) around 6am before I left for work. I closed up any openings with blue painters tape and did not return to the room till roughly 10 hours later. I washed all my sheets (they were pulled off the futon and hung up in the room) by then there was no smell or any indication I have set off two foggers. I'm happy to say it's been 3 days and I have yet to be bitten. Unfortunately the ordeal scared me so bad that I am still getting rid of this futon. Just too many folds and coushining for bed bugs to hide in. I am going to set off another fogger tomorrow morning before work just as a precaution. I feel you have to give anything and everything a chance to see what works. I think it's best to set off these foggers early in the morning where they come out of hiding and are most active (between 4am-6am) I also don't think one fogger is enough. I plan on setting off one more after I dismantle the futon. Good luck I hope this review helps!

This product works if you understand bed bugs, their habits, and the way they breed and move.

Not even a professional can eliminate them in one shot. In order for any fogger to work properly you must cover your entire living space which includes bedrooms, living room, hallways, etc. if treating only one room, most bed bugs will scurry to the next room just to get away from the fogger.

Preparation is needed before you fog like the directions on the box state. Bedding, ALL bedding should be removed and bagged so the fogger can penetrate your bed, or furniture.

The box states that it will NOT kill bed bug eggs. Which means they will be hatching within 7 to 10 days, at that point you need to fog again.

The product works fantastic when you know exactly how to treat them!!

the stuff worked! I fogged twice. I have no pets, but a family of very cute itchy foxes lived under my deck for awhile and their fleas moved into my bedroom. Ugh. I used another brand from Amazon last year (same foxes) and was disappointed. If the foxes and fleas return, I'll get this brand again.

Amazon delivered as promised. No complaints for their service. They can not help that the product DOES NOT WORK.
First I have to say that yes, I did follow the directions. As a matter of fact I went above and beyond what I should have done to help rid my home of the nasy little bugs my son brought home from a friends house. All the beds were stripped, mattress taken off box springs, even clothes were removed from his room as steam cleaned. All drawers were emptied. There is nothing more that could be thrown away. And because his room is close to the "1200 feet" the bomb says it covers I even put TWO in the room.
I went so far as to contact Hot Shot, to make sure I was not forgetting something. In their response Email they informed me that their "product worked against bed bugs and to rebomb in 2 weeks just to make sure the eggs are killed".
So we set it all up. Did the bombs, came home (and yes stupid me, I wasted even more money because I bought enough to put all through my house 'just in case" they escaped my sons quarantined and taped off room) And do you know what we found when we got to my sons room? Yup...bed bugs. And they were walking AROUND the discharged bomb.
I did read the reviews before I bought this, and its my fault for buying it. But when I was reading the reviews, about half of them said it did work. I figured the other half may have not done the bomb right. After all, it is a lot of work and prep to do a bomb.
Please save yourself some money, don't even bother trying this. I did have a few fleas from my cats. And yes.. They are even still hanging around.

We suddenly had a flea infestation problem, and between this fogger and flea treatments for the pets (which came from Amazon as well), problem solved. The fogger was easy to use. Only requires two hours instead of the four hours required by the competition. Best of all, no more fleas and no residue.

To make a long story short: It didn't kill my bedbugs. It stunned them for a day, but then they were back to their old blood-sucking tricks. This product was a complete waste of time and money.

Tried everything! Set these off in April. Not one bug since. Went ahead and bombed again last month, and planning to again about January, there is a 100-300 day hybernation.... taking no chances!
