I chose Bath for my second book in the hotel romanticmysteries, because I visited Bath many years ago, and it left an incredibleimpression on me. I visited the Roman Baths Museum, and didn't want to leave.
My favorite site was the Sacred Spring. I stood in front ofthe spring and imagined what happened in that exact spot two centuries ago. Theplace is mesmerizing, the hot mineral water rises at the rate of about 1,170liters a day, and the steam feels like a wonderful facial.
Once I began writing the second book, the choice was clearas was the murder scene...you guessed it...the Sacred Spring. Romance canblossom anywhere, but Bath has Jane Austen to lead the way.
I went back to Bath and spent a few days to once again feelthe pulse of this ancient place; it is indeed captivating. If you'd like tolearn more about Bath, you'll find an article I wrote on the travel page on mywebsite.
I hope you will get a glimpse of the Bath I love, and maybeeven decide to visit. It's a two hour train ride from London, and well worth avisit. You'll be enchanted just as I was.
