Purchased March 25 and received the June edition about June 1st (give or take a couple days), which meets the delivery timeline stated on Amazon but does seem a bit long. The magazine is nice, and altough there are a lot of ads, they are relevent (some are hard to tell they're promotional so they wrote "promotional" along the top or bottom off the page. The magazine is 105 pages. There are 7 pages of "table of contents, letter from editor, names of all of the contributors, and a resource page. There are 58 pages of content - some are just pictures, but afterall, this is a magazine about making your home beautiful so I expect a lot of pictures :)

When I was remodeling my house I subscribed to 10 or 12 different house magazines. With the exception of an Arts & Crafts style specific one (think: house porn: it's all super beautiful and way too expensive for mere mortals), this is my favorite. The colors, designs & styles appeal the most and I occasionally get a good idea from it. Either way, it soothes my spirit to see images of the pretty, clean, serene houses.

It's so sad to see House Beautiful take such a dive. I wish I could stop my subscription. They've shrunk what was a robust and design-savvy magazine into a thin pamphlet featuring B-grade (at best) interiors. Mine will be pitched in the recycling bin right after the five minutes it takes me to read it cover to cover.

This is one of my must have magazines. I love all the options from color or style, design style, and expert advice. In the designs are not so overpriced that they’re out of reach, like some high-end design magazines. But there are definitely high and low end options for design inspiration. Love love love.

I stopped subscribing to House Beautiful last year. I had been a fan for several years and enjoyed the aesthetic of the rooms. I especially enjoyed the Bee Cottage series they featured and looked forward to that each month. However once that series ended there wasn't much to keep me reading the magazine and the rooms featured continued to go towards a more Elle Decor aesthetic that I wasn't a big fan of.

I liked it. I haven't gotten too far into it yet but what I have read of it I found that I don't regret getting it. I like the colors & the pictures of the rooms & such. Thank you very much.

I team-teach interior design classes with designers and one said HOUSE BEAUTIFUL magazine was considered "the bible" in the interior design business. I love getting it every month. It features myriad designers, includes eclectic styles, has a "kitchen and bath of the month" section, includes last words by designers on topics, highlights a list of top 10 furniture pieces every month selected by designers representing different price points, and always strives to stay current and fresh.

It's a great way to stay up to date with design trends as well as having classic and traditional styles. I always find something I like in the magazine each month and learn from it.

The best of the shelter magazines, now that they've dispensed with 102 things you can do with sheets. A treat for anyone bored with the floridly expensive homes presented by Architectural Digest. I particularly love the monthly selection of paint colors and tips of what to pair with what -- always unexpected and refreshing. Of course, the prices of furnishings and accessories are over the top, but it presents a field guide of ideas for the dreamer -- or the scavenger. With a little imagination, one can ALWAYS attain a similar mood on the cheap.

At first I didn't like this magazine at all, and then I decided to give it another try, and I'm glad I did. This is not a magazine to read quickly. It's not jam packed with pictures and how to's etc... and big bold text. The text can be long and there are lots of smaller images - ie treasures tucked inside that if you skim it quickly you will miss. If you are inspired by images of others' works, you will enjoy this read! If you want something you can just look at the pictures and be inspired - probably not for you.
