From the Author
It is my hope that in sharing my life stories and perspectives, that there will be those out in the world who have thought of themselves as, "The Only One", and realize that they truly are not, and to find within themselves the courage and passion to share of themselves, to find whatever healing and happiness is best for them. I hope too, to spread some extra awareness about developmental conditions, such as Kallmann and Klinefelter. I have identified with both, having had been diagnosed by different doctors, at different times, with one or the other. It is not possible to have both (I wouldn't desire to have either one really!), but I do speak in wonder of some possibility of "being" something somewhere in the middle of the two. They have great similarities, but also differences, of which I try to the best of my ability and understanding to explain, though I admit I am not an expert on either- I merely speak of the two as I have come to know them as it has related to my personal life. House of Cards is much, much more than just that topic, as you will come to read...I have been through many different life experiences that have permeated many facets of my adult life throughout the years, of which I write of the challenges of moving forward from such things. Sifting through various issues and experiences has not been easy, as they have all been interconnected to one degree or another...thus collectively my life tales are called: "House of Cards."
