There's plenty of room each day for my appointments and short notes. I like the fact that it's recycled. I look forward to the "quote of the week," and I actually use some of the reference pages that are included (metric conversion, for example). Last year's calendar held up extremely well - no creases, tears, etc. despite some abuse on my part.
I'm actively looking for other House of Doolittle products just because I've been happy with this one. No, they didn't pay me to write this - I just really like this thing!
The best part is that the paper is from 100% post-consumer recycled material and printed with soy inks - AND made in the USA! The paper quality was excellent - not too thin, and allowed for smooth writing.
I'd recommend this planner - if it doesn't seem pretty enough just slap some stickers on it and pretend you're back in elementary school ;)
With ample room for daily entries, a quick-reference 4-month calendar on each 2-page spread that includes dates for the prior month, the present month, and two future months, and a full-page calendar for each month, there are plenty of options for planning and reference. In the back is a two-page weekly grid for a class schedule that I found particularly useful. The first page is for the fall term, and the second will be for my winter term. Added with the boilerplate pages that include a North American map, states and capitals, US presidents, common formulas and a conversion table, etc, and there's really nothing missing for me here.
I used to use a compact-sized Franklin planner, but that's just too bulky to carry around. This 5x8-inch planner is the perfect size, and lies flat enough in my messenger bag to fit in an auxiliary pocket. As has been mentioned, the binding/one-piece plastic cover design is a bit off-putting at first, because it doesn't allow the planner cover to completely close when I set it down. I keep wanting to pinch the cover nearest the binding to flatten out the cover, but this is really a minor distraction that I believe will cure itself over time. Overall, this is a no-brainer purchase. I love it.
I bought the planner for my desk but I'm thinking it is actually a better size to carry in my purse. It's a little smaller than my Kindle.

I could have bought a better planner that this one. The days are too small and doesn't give you enough room to write on.Published on October 19, 2013 by Byron C.
While the quality and everything is great, this planner is for 2012. I bought it 2 days ago, and as it goes from august to august, I didn't consider the possibility that it might... Read morePublished on August 29, 2013 by Nday
I'm so furious, who sends out a calander that only has 1 month left, I just assumed that it was for 2013 into 2014. Waste of money. Read morePublished on August 21, 2013 by Steve sudell

It looked bigger online. I needed something that I could use to keep up with my school, work and bills. It was just to small. I didn't like the cover of it either.Published on June 20, 2013 by Brittanie White
This product was way too expensive for what I got. I still use it but I would not spend this much money again for something I could've made myself.Published on March 5, 2013 by hagenss

I am very satisfied with this planner. There is a lot of room for each weekday, not so much for the weekend. Overall nicely done. Read morePublished on January 21, 2013 by Elly Jones
