I started reading this series at book 6 so I am going back and reading about some of the characters that I have already met and to find out how their stories went. This book is a second chance romance in the middle of the Morgan family drama. This is my honest and voluntary review of this book that I have read.
Luke had a difficult life and with no mother or father in his daily life, he dedicated his life to become a Doctor. He has only recently found out that is father’s last name was Morgan and was the man he knew has his banker. He believes his father’s name was why his sister was kidnapped and he has moved to Miami to be closer to his family and his new siblings.
Caro Soliz has a dream but she is living her mother’s life and has become the Morgan family’s housekeeper when her mother retires from the job. Her life changed after she finished college and lost the love of her life after not seeing him until it was too late. Her life is about to turn upside down when she learns the true name of the man she thought she had lost forever.
Will these two get a chance to see where their life could have gone many years ago, or will the Morgan family drama keep them apart?
I just loved this story about Eliza and Rafe and wished it was a bit longer than it was. Had my heart melting for Rafe as he learns he has a son. This is my honest and voluntary review of this book that I have read.
Elisabeth Morgan’s is living a mother's worse nightmare, her son has been kidnapped. Eliza is seeking the help of her family that she never know until the death of her father recently, she moves to Miami to be close to her new family as well as she had a lead that her son may be here. Caro Soliz brother is the families goto Police Officer Rafe Soliz the man she had a one night stand in Las Vegas with.
Rafe Soliz was called to the Morgan Home to help with a case and this was a case that would change his world completely. He came face to face with the woman that he never shared names in Las Vegas. He was surprised to learn she was a Morgan and that she had a Son. He helped the Morgan family but did not feel he could live in their world even though he went to the same school as the Morgans. His mother had been their maid so how could he have a feeling for a Morgan.
Rafe soon learned that the missing boy was his and that made his attraction to Eliza even more difficult to forget. Eliza dreams of having a complete family so can she convince Rafe that he is worthy of her love and the love of his son?
Can Rafe find and return his son to his mother’s arms?
Secret Heir (House of Morgan #6)
This is book 6 of this series and is the first one I have read. I enjoyed the plot and as always the author’s style but was disappointed in the ending. I felt the end was too abrupt I would have liked a bit more, but as it’s a series maybe we will get a bit more in the next book. This is a short interesting read that I would recommend and if this one is like the others in the series about the same family they all should keep our interest. I received an ARC copy and this is my voluntary and honest review of the book I read.
