"This is the fourth of her books I've read. All are well written and keep the reader interested. This one is unusual because it is a story of asupernatural romance. Throughout, the backstory is told with logic andsensitivity. I will read more of her books when they're available. Canrecommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and/or supernaturalstories."
"I absolutely loved this book! I have never read any books by thisparticular author before so House on Serpent Lake was my first. But Ican guarantee you it will not be my last! Have always been a sucker for a good haunted house/ghost story and this one has it all! Just the rightamount of chills, thrills and spookiness! I was hooked from page one and stayed up most of the night to finish. I highly recommend thisincredibly brilliant write! Doubt you will be disappointed...it's justto wonderful!"
"I really loved this book! I am a major historical fiction fan but forsome reason couldn't get my mind around some heavy reading and thinking. This book filled the void quietly and efficiently. Got me into thestoryline almost immediately and kept me guessing about what was whatwhich is a hard thing to do to me since I have such an analyticalmindset. I was truly able to engross myself in this read! I didn't put it down until it was done. Great reading, Great characters, greatplot. Enough said."
"Loved it. Wasn't expecting the ending."

Her favorite novel and aglass of champagne sat on a tray next to tub. Lyingback, she rested her head on the rim and closed her eyes. As she drifted intosleep, she dreamed of making love in the gazebo under the full moon.
Theair in the bathroom changed, became heavy and faintly crackling as if chargedwith electrical tension. The light flicked off and a faint spicy aroma grewuntil it filled the room. In her drowsy state Lindsay breathed in the familiarscent and smiled.
Thebath water gently splashed and two faint thuds sounded, then she felt theslight touch of lips on hers. Strong arms went around her and pulled her to amuscular body. She felt his smooth skin against her breast. The kiss deepened and a tongue slid into her mouth and in thetwilight of sleep and awareness, she greeted it with her own. He laid hergently against the back of the tub and nuzzled her neck, just below her ear, andsent shivers to her toes.
"Let'sgo to bed where we have more room," she murmured.
Hedidn't answer. Instead, he kissed her, sucking her bottom lip into his warmmouth and placed her legs around his lean hips. Desperately wanting him, sheran her palms around his neck and down his chest, luxuriating in his smoothskin . . .smooth skin
? She stiffenedand made a small sound.
