minutes setting up 5 ribbons, and struggled with each one.Though I pulled them out as gently as I could, the hanging ribbon pulled loose on each one, so I had to tack the sticky paper directly to stucco walls, trees, etc.. It's more of a problem than you'd think; they just don't hang well without the loop. It's really hard to unfurl the darned thing, and sometimes the end rips off, so there's no weighted anchor and the paper just flaps in the wind. No matter what I do or how careful I am with these, I end up sticky, and the adhesive is really hard to remove. I suppose I'd continue using them if I hadn't discovered flat flypaper traps (Amazon sells one that sits curved on a piece of cardboard -- much better in every way: https://www.amazon.com/CatchClear-FLY-STUCK-Fruit-Flies-Disposable-Non-Toxic/dp/B01INNOHDQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493652276&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=fly+paper&psc=1), because there just aren't a lot of inexpensive options for catching flies, but ick. .
