I love this gadget. Stores in no space. Could it be better? Yes. The board could be higher, it could be a little heavier duty. But it does the job and doesn't take up any space in my small apartment. I am very happy with it.

But if you want something space saving and cheaply made then here you go. I bought this so my husband could iron his work shirts we live in a small apartment so the fact that it hangs on the door is nice. But it came broken and my husband had to rig it back into operating order :/

I am not satisfied at all with this product. First of all it seemed very flimsy as we removed it from the carton. I had no occasion to use it until this weekend and as I opened it, or released the snaps on the sides, one fell to the floor. As I looked more closely the other snap was completely missing. I opened it and then tried to close it and one of the bottom snaps was missing as well. I had to take it down off the door to finally close it I was so angry I threw it in the trash. Sorry to say, but this product is a piece of junk, poorly made and price is way to high for such poor workmanship.
I would have liked to have known more about the product from more reviews. I also wonder if it had been used, because of the missing parts. If this is not the case I would advise the seller to be more diligent in their inspection of their outgoing orders and to make sure they are not sent out in such poor condition. And I will be more diligent in my inspection of orders I receive.

Flimsy and Awkward

I purchased this ironing board due to the small nature of the room that it would be placed in. It was easy to set up and came with two different hooks to use depending on the width of your door, which was nice. The door was also able to close with the hooks, as they are not very thick.

However, when I went to iron on it, the board was very flimsy and was not sturdy on the door at all. The board moved around so much that I was uncomfortable to even have the iron on it. Even the dog wanted to get out of the room to get away from the noise and commotion of it. Would not recommend it. I will now be purchasing a hook for a regular ironing board, which can be stored behind the door on a wall.

Clunky but works well

It's been a perfect solution for our space, but it's a bit "clunky". Though it's not problematic or difficult, it isn't very smooth when moving up and down. We generally try not to use it when the other spouse is sleeping because it's a bit noisy. Also, we used it on a double bathroom door that is a bit narrow and had to remove the (decorative) door handle for it to fit. This is an issue with our door, not the ironing board, but keep in mind where you plan to put it when you're ordering.

This is the best investment I have made in a long time. I always have my ironing board out. Seems like I always have something to iron.
I saw in some reviews that a new cover could not be found, but Amazon does carry them for $10 and change. This was also a purchase from Amazon. Love dealing with these people. and no hazzle returns.
I am 4'10" and this is a great height for me. It measures 33" from the floor, so if you are tall, you may end up with a back ache. This is not adjustable. Finally something for shorter people.
One thing to beware of, if your door butts up against the wall when opened and you are right handed, make sure you hang it on a door that opens from left to right from the outside, otherwise you will be squished between the wall and the board.
Also has a great little rack to hold the iron. Great value for the money and very stable.

The hanging brackets are about 10- inches long (much longer than the picture)
The locking mechanisms are a bit odd... spring loaded strips of metal...

When down and flat against a surface it hold well and does the job!
Fold it away and its out of sight.
