My husband picked this game out for Christmas. He loved it! It was just my husband and I and the games were quick but fun.
The game is super easy to learn. You have tokens (10 total. Two 5, three 3, five 1). You roll the dice to see who goes first, then lake a challenge card and read it out loud. You can get solo, buddy up, battle royal and duel. After you read the challenge card you each bet one token based on how you think you will do in the challenge, 5 is you think you will win/complete it and 1 is you think you will lose. Each person then takes tirns doing the challenge. If you won you “bank” the token you bet. If you lost/failed you put the token in a place (we put it away in the box) where you can use it again. Basically there are 10 rounds you can win or lose. In the end you count your tokens. Player with the most wins. Simple!
we played a more simplified version that I got and my husband later said he enjoys it a little more than Beat That. We played with 8 people (the max) at a family get together and it took a long time to finish. It was very fun but some were ready for it to end. My husband was one of them. A few challenges we didn’t like. One was transferring a ball that you are holding under your chin to under the chin of your partner/buddy you chose for the challenge. I did the challenge (and failed). The others watching said it made them uncomfortable watching. I can agree. It isn’t something I would want to do with friends. I had to go through the challenges after that and I took out a few. Over all, I really like the game. I would recommend it for parties or even a couple who enjoy a little competition.

SUPER SIMPLE RULES
