TL;DR Don't buy another RE property without reading this book first and know it will also be and great future reference.
This is the first book I purchased from Mark, and although I have not completed it, it has brought up some horrific memories of purchasing my first home. From beginning your search on Zillow, Realtor.com, etc., to signing on the dotted line is a lengthy, arduous process that many take upon without understanding what they are doing and just having blind faith in a real estate agent. For the biggest purchase in one's life, it is not something to do without research, knowledge, and understanding...which is where Mark and "How to Buy a House" can truly help. For anyone buying their first home, or even second or third, and especially your first rental property, this book is a definite read. Buy, enjoy, and good luck with your purchase.
I also appreciate the organization. Each chapter stands on it own so you can just flip to the section that interests you without the need to read all the previous section. In fact, I think this should be called a "Handbook for Home Ownership" since it has more advice than just how to buy a house.

1. Title is how to buy a house, but lots of content for how to sell a house, even how to repair a house
