The first picture I am posting here is very embarrassing. This was my drawing skills before I read any of Karens books or took her classes. The second one is after. I have been focusing on profiles which is JUST one of the areas this book covers. They are VERY challenging! My next two photos are profiles I did, following this books instructions and help, while developing my own personal style.
I have chosen to leave a review on this awesome book because this is what I wish I could have found years ago! This book is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!! I cannot recommend it enough!

This book is INCREDIBLE!!!! I have never drawn before and this artist has been so helpful just by watching some of her videos I did my first mixed media painting before I even picked up a pencil and learned how to draw an eye. My painting shocked me by how great it was just by what I gained from listening to her even more than watching. She's brilliant and this book has SO many tutorials, links to free tutorial videos by her as well as other artists that go with every single lesson, and it jam packed with literally everything you need to know. I can't wait to paint my character from my first mixed media piece in a few months to see how far I've come. Maybe I should do that every month to watch my progress. Hmmmm. Well Karen Campbell is definitely the most uplifting and fun artist I have come across so far. Her tutorials are thorough, totally turns my hand into an artist after only 5 minutes! But her book. Support these artists guys. You will be getting way more out of it than she will! I promise. ❤

Very easy step by step instructions. Karen helps you every step of the way. I said to myself…”You can’t draw” …but I just kept reading, drawing and erasing, erasing, erasing…. Fabulous teacher! Thank you so much for sharing your love and talent in this beautiful book!
