Shazaf Fatima Haider was born in Islamabad in 1982 and received her masters degree in English Literature from the University of Karachi in 2006. She is a writer and teacher and is currently based in Karachi, Pakistan. This is her first novel.

This book will be most enjoyed by an Indian or Pakistani as he/she can understand the fineries of the complex situation as covered in the book. A good read.

Witty!! A well written funny book- hilarious anecdotes give a unique insight into the subcontinental culture of arranged marriages. It will be enjoyed by all!

Delightful read. Very well narrated, brisk plot with loads of humour. I read parts of it aloud to my family. Much enjoyed by everyone in our household.
