I bought this book after finding her website and trying some of Becky’s recipes. Her crusty white loaf is the best gluten free bread I have ever made! I have been gluten free for nearly 20 years and have tried making bread, but it was so hard it could have broken windows! This is soft and chewy on the inside and crusty on the outside, delicious! I have also made her burger buns, cookies, and cupcakes, yum! Not tried much else, but from the Facebook group she has I have seen lots of other peoples successes and can’t wait to try other things.

Very rarely am I impressed with a cookbook. Not because I’m a cooking snob, but because many cookbooks call for strange items this Northwest TN girl doesn’t have in stock and is hard to find at the grocery. Then if you find all the ingredients, you have to go through numerous steps.

This cookbook calls for simple ingredients, with simple, easy to follow steps.

Of course none of that matters if it doesn’t taste good. I am working my way through the entire cookbook. So far everything has been delicious. The photo I posted was a recipe from the cookbook called, Mark’s Mum’s Malaysian Chicken Curry. Yum!

The equivalent of a cookbook bible containing a bucket list of yummy food for the gluten (& dairy) free population.

I have been so excited to get my hands on this book, I pre ordered and it arrived on day it was released. I am low fodmap and it shows this on recipes. I use Becky Excell’s recipes almost daily for both baking and meals. It really made my day getting the book, as I had chemotherapy today, so really cheered me up when I got home and it had arrived. The cookbook contains all my favourite recipes plus so many more. I’m so glad she’s made this book, I follow her on Facebook and Instagram. I couldn’t be happier and 100% recommend this book. It has recipes for vegans, vegetarians, dairy free, low FODMAP and of course all are gluten free. The best thing is some of the results including the Yorkshire puddings you can’t tell are gluten free.
