It gets 3 stars for being a very organized, well laid out text...but loses my favor in lack of fully delivering on the promise in the title.
It just doesn't stay focused on the "...earn cash, market yourself, reach your customers, and grow your business..." enough in my opinion.
It opened my eyes to the potential of YOUTUBE. I think this is where we will start to see indie filmmakers migrate to, if they aren't there already.
It's only a matter of time until YOUTUBE or a thing like it complete replaces traditional TV.
Whether you plan to use YouTube for fun or profit, this book is a MUST HAVE! You will meet others who have already begun their journey and who share success stories and what to do and what not to do, so you can avoid the common pitfalls. In order to make money, you will need to do more than just film a short video and upload it to YouTube and this book provides the perfect road map to your success.
One of the first things you'll need to do is figure out what type of video you want to make and then come up with a storyline. Should you use YouTube to publicize your resume or for college admission essay? The answers are in the book. Learn how to research the marketplace and set goals for yourself.
