This is a fun little book that really seeks to drill into the brains of men that women want guys to talk to them. The tactics aren't much more technical than striking up conversations and seeing what happens.

The field has advanced significantly since this book was originally published. There's now a cacophony of material from the established pick up schools that's probably more useful.

A very interesting read. Common sense type "tips" offered in a
very entertaining way. Uses portions of "interviews" with twenty-five
beautiful girls. Even though the book is over 40 years old, it offers
valuable info for meeting females. Highly recommended.

Practical, Common-Sense Guide

This is a nicely readable common-sense guide. I read the original version years ago, before we had online avenues like chat rooms and email. No, the book isn't some magic pill designed to turn you into a suave seducer. Intead, its a practical guide that can give you the confidence to step forward more effectively. The advice includes moving with confidence, being nice, and never letting rejection throw you. In short, the book asks you to shed your shyness and self-defeating insecurities (which many gals also have) because you view yourself as less than ideal. Hey, who is? A practical guide that can help. Read it and good luck.

Not what I thought

I purchased this book because as a fire fighter, I was told repeatedly that when rescuing women, I pick them up wrong; which most likely is why I keep dropping them. As a professional, I wanted to improve my skills so I instantly searched for a manual on Amazon that could teach me how to pick up women. After reading this book cover to cover, I was very upset that nothing was mentioned on how to physically pick up a girl correctly. But, I did rate this book 5 stars because even though I still cannot pick up a girl and put her over my shoulders correctly, I have been getting laid a lot more since reading this book

A good confidence builder for shy men

If you are shy around women and tongue tied, this will give you a nudge to ask them for a date. Also, not all women want a tall, good-looking man, and this book helps destroy that assumption that most men seem to have about women. This is a good buy for pumping up your self esteem and courage to approach women.

This book changed my life. I have a lazy eye and have a skin condition that tends to flare up when I get nervous. Eric's advice helped me to realize that nobody's perfect, except perhaps for some Hollywood stars, and that girls are dying for me to pick them up. I've gotten two dates already since I finished the book last month, and even though those didn't work out, I'm confident that my perfect match is still out there. This book is a "must have" for all of you others out there like me; unattractive and lonely. Thanks Eric!
