I agree with Stephen Law, the book can be read by theist and atheist equally as it provides a comprehensive body of material of well researched information. I particularly liked the use of question and answer format to develop his message.

This book is okay for the most part, but it is full of spelling and grammatical errors, and at least one error about the Bible. When he refers to Abraham sacrificing the child of promise, he says it was Ishmael instead of Isaac. I don't know if this was an oversight, or if Treharne just doesn't know the Bible as well as he thinks he does. I think he needs to update it and correct all the aforementioned errors, lest any Christians who might read it out of curiosity notices all these errors (especially the one about Ishmael and Isaac), and comes to think that Trevor Treharne is a small time wannabe, and so feel justified that they are correct and atheists don't know what they are talking about.

Not bad, but could have been done with a lot less words. Prove the bible was written by people who thought the world was flat, and the earth was the center of the universe - it was ok to sell your daughters etc. I could go on, but, you get the idea! To me that's all that needs to be said. (Good read)

Thanks, this is a comprehensive book regarding why some of the traditional 'conceptual' / intellectual arguments for the existence of God can have shortcomings. But intellectual arguments for the existence of God contain only some of the perspectives. To really understand why God exists, we have to experience His living presence. We have to realize that He is a Living God. The consciousness, the reasoning mind, the reasoning ability, the understanding, intelligence, wisdom, conceptual, thinking and analytical skills within us are God-given. When we are non-believers, yet to experience God's attribute of pure consciousness which is living and alive and vibrant within us, we are using God-given intelligence to refute and deny His existence. But why this Paradox? Why does God enodw His children with intelligence and the freewill to deny and refute His existence. The answers to these mysteries are explained in Merton Lee's book Footprints of God in Every Season or Heaven is for Real: Why and How we will return to heaven.
