Review

All types of Ford big block are covered here in minute detail with full color photography throughout and if you have one then you'll need this book, for sure. An essential guide, I would say. ---Total Kit Car (UK), May/June 2010

The in-depth part of this book used an engine that few of us will have the opportunity to work on. The principles are still generalizable to other, more common big block Ford engines. Still, too muck ink was spilled talking about exotic engines that I'll never get to work on. I will be looking for more specific information sources.

It really should be called "How To Rebuild Big-Block Ford 385/Lima Engines". It has some rebuild/modification info on the FE series, and feels like more of a "fun rebuild facts" section on the Cleveland.
