The last time I cooked a turkey was so many years ago I can't even remember. But, what I DO remember was calling my mom and asking her how to do it. Since then I've spent Thanksgivings either in restaurants or with the family - and my contribution to the meal was baking the pies. You can see that the first turkey cooking did me in! However, with this book, and the easy steps it covers, I feel like I can face that big bird once again - AND not stress out that I'll undercook it, overcook it, or do something dumb with the cavity, extra fat or the cavity! If you're like me and not a cook, grab this book - it will definitely get you through the stress of inviting the family over for Thanksgiving.
