Highly recommend with a caution on expectations.
John Turnipseed, one of the people portrayed in the book, wrote the introduction. He said, "Dr. Blee became a hope dealer."
It is wonderful when the medical team is in sync with the spiritual team (Jesus and whomever). Dr. Bree is a prayer warrior who spends his time outside the closet actually ministering with his faith and medical skills to his ER patients. He prays on the run and God is with him.
Because of the extreme trauma present in the ER, there is a lot of blood loss that must be replenished. We can't live without it and there is no substitute. He frequently shares how important the blood shed by Jesus on the cross is to us. We can't live without it and there is no substitute.
Meet the humble and flawed Dr. Blee as he shares his story with us. It seems that everywhere he went (including incarceration in jail at one point), God had him there to give his life-saving knowledge of the Lord to someone in need. An uplifting and poignant read for everyone.
This was a great, eye opening read.
