Format: Hardcover
I bought this book for my brother, who is 35, for Christmas this past year and when it came in the mail I literally sat and played with it for an hour and a half before my fiance finally took it out of my hands and told me to stop it because I'd wear out the batteries. Stupid adults.

For the next two weeks I was obsessed with it. He tried to hide it from me all over the house but I found it. Oh, I found it.

The first time I did, I laid in wait for my cat to get close and pressed one of the buttons just to see if he understood Wookiee. He didn't...I still have the faint scratch lines to prove it. Needless to say, the book was re-hidden while I was preoccupied with pouring peroxide into my flesh wounds.

The next time I found it I taunted my fiance by pushing ALL THE BUTTONS while sprinting away from him and cackling like a mad woman as he tried to reclaim it from me. Yeah, he's faster than I am. Also, I'm ticklish and was forced to abandon it due to his threats of making me piss myself.

The final time I found it I answered the phone with it. FYI, best way to deal with solicitors EVAAAAAAAR.

"Good evening Ms. Litchick. I was wondering if you've ev-"

"HAAAARUUUUUUUAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!"

"Um...excuse me?"

"AUUGGGGHHHHHAAAAAARRRRRR!!!"

"I'm sorry, do I have the right number? I'm trying to reach a Ms-"

"BAAAAAWAAANAAAAAA. MUUAAAAAHHHHRRRRNNNNNAAAAA!!!"

What the hell do you say to that? Nothing, that's right.

If you're a Stars Wars fan, you should own this. And you better be a Star Wars fan because who hates Star Wars? You know who, Trekkies.

You don't wanna be those people do you? No, no you don't. Tell those Trekkies to suck it.

Oh and FYI, I just got my very own copy of this in the mail. Let the endless hilarity begin!

SUCK IT TREKKIES!!!

For some inexplicable reason, my toddler boy started making wookiee noises one day (we have never shown him Star Wars!). We found it so hilarious that we did them back to him.
When I found this book, I knew it would be a perfect book for him. So cute and hilarious. I love the different sound bytes and the explanations for each.
(PS I saw that they are selling this book at Target now)

This book may very well be the least offensive talking book ever created. The sounds are hilarious, the illustrations are delightful, and everyone of every age can definitely enjoy it.

I really like this book and found it to e a fun book even for a old man like myself. I seen the 3 original Star War movies when they came out. I really like the wookie sound effect device that comes as part of the book. There is about 10 different wookie calls ob the wookie sound effect device. Great book for all Star Wars fan no matter the age.

This is a silly book. We giggled over it one day, and that was it. A thing to note is that the illustrations look like they were straight from the '70's. I wonder if this book was published shortly after Episode 4 of Star Wars was released for the first time- it really has that feel to it.

not what unexpected. It isn't a book for kids. It is like Chewbacca going to work, or on dates, and you press the button and maks chewy sounds at different parts which is suppose to be funny. My son loves chewy though and can't read so mostly he just points at the pics, which are cute, and pushes the buttons-which is fun..

I bought this for my husband as a surprise for Christmas and turns out that he got it for me too! Haha, It's really cute and creative but I wish there was more to it. It doesn't really "teach" you anything but it's fun to try to imitate. I must say, I'm quite fluent.
