It is hard to know if a book is good until you've opened it up and see for yourself. When I received it and started reading, first found that the pages in the first sections were not in order. That has to do with the printer. It made for very difficult reading. But besides that, I felt it was not the information that I was looking for. I suppose it would be good if you are wanting to know more about the business aspect and how to make money, but as far as practical information on operating a catering business--it fell short. There was not enough information on things like: how to set up a buffet table properly or in creative ways, and other things. I guess I am more interested in the service part of catering and how to go about it. Have not found a good book to help in that respect.
