It brings so many things into a different light for me - making situations and life events that I figured would be dreadful and hard into something that, suddenly, wouldn't be so much of a hamper on life at all. I love how satirical it is and how many zingers are throughout the book that make absolutely everything lighter.
The relationship chapter is what got me - I think that it will be helping me get out of the rut I am in!
The reading was truthful, but still had that comedic style which is to be expected with Tan's writing; also the reason I enjoy the author so much. As a reader, you are able to find a lot of encouragement from this book. The writing covers a lot of general life topics, you're sure to find at least one chapter that obtains to you. For me, I was able to relate to several and I can see myself referring back to this book in the future!
Definitely worth the small cost!
