HR sensor works fairly well
Sleep tracker is pretty thorough
Battery life - started wearing at 90% 2.5 days ago and still have half the battery left
Exercise tracker is fairly good
Find your phone feature is nice
Can send almost any notification to the band
Comfortable on my wrist and the clasp is secure
Remote shutter doesn't work with many phones
Screen is fairly low res and limited color
Right now it's sending duplicate notifications (may be user error, not sure)
Only 2 faces at this point (neither of which are that great)
Only shows temps in Celsius and can't display negatives (only shows a C -)
I'm personally not a fan of the colors they chose for the UI
Most of the cons should be able to be fixed with further firmware and software updates. If you need something similar to a smartwatch (most are too large for my wrist), but don't want to spend that much money or don't need the functionality, this is a solid alternative.
UPDATE (1/30/2019): As another rater noted, the Fahrenheit temperature option has been added. Still not in love with the watch faces, but they've added one face, so maybe they'll add more or tweak the originals. I'm not getting as many duplicate notifications, so that's good. However, the messages section is still incredibly slow. I've actually stopped looking at messages on my band unless my phone isn't nearby...it doesn't display many characters and the screen isn't responsive at all on that app. Takes about 4 seconds to load the list of messages (which is already limited to 10) and swiping messages away takes 2-3 seconds. I know that doesn't sound horrible, but during that time I'm left wondering if it's registering my swipes at all... Battery still lasting a few days (although using GPS burns through the battery like crazy). I'm leaving my rating at 4 starts, but would probably do 3.5 if I could. If you're comparing this to a new Fitbit...this isn't nearly that quality, but is also much cheaper. Again, as I said originally, you get what you pay for.
I was hoping to be able to draft a thoroughly positive review of this device, but sadly I cannot. I will just give a synopsis of what I have found to be the pros and cons.
The materials are good and the device feels solid;
The display is beautiful and responsive;
The heart rate tracker seems to be accurate;
The step tracker seems to be accurate; and
The sleep tracker seems to be accurate and thorough.
Now for the cons (in no particular order):
Temperature is only shown in Celsius;
Limited Workout selection (no elliptical, free weight, etc...);
Does not fully sync with Google Fit (i.e... step count, HR and exercises do not transfer);
The tracker does not agree with the Huawei Health app step counts;
No means of submitting written feed back to the OEM;
A lack of Watch Face/Home Screen options;
Cannot disable Tilt to wake without putting the device in DND; and
Even though I have a Huawei phone, I cannot use this as a Trusted Device to keep my phone unlocked.
I do like the look and feel of this tracker, however it certainly is not the "all-in-one, multi-sport" device it claims to be.
I am not certain if I am going to keep the tracker or not. I will wait to see if there are any firmware updates to address some of these issues.
I will update the review if anything changes.
I had an issue with the lens for the HR sensor on the unit becoming clouded. Huawei's customer service has been top-notch so far.
The tracker itself has been great, as far as "all day HR" and "sleep tracking."
If I was a runner, cyclist or swimmer this would probably be the near perfect activity tracker.
I will update more as needed.
I never used the workout features on my Fitbit, so I personally cannot compare them to Huawei. The only features that would make this tracker better for me is calorie and water tracking. I rated the battery life with 4 stars because it seems like all of the push notifications are a tad much for its capacity in comparison to Fitbit, but I find it no more daunting to plug it in at night than my cell phone. I gave the material quality 5 stars. I have petite wrists and it fits snug and comfortably to me. Someone mentioned that it appears and feels cheap and I completely disagree. I rated the easy to use 4 stars based on the fact that you have to physically enable many features and notifications in the app. I do love the find phone feature though. Overall, I gave this product 5 stars because it fulfills its purposes I bought it for.
Update 12/22: Firmware version 1.0.1034 was released. I updated the unit and the temp can now be displayed in Fahrenheit. Also included in the update was an analog clock face. Much thanks to Huawei for listening to their customers and getting these issues fixed! I changed my rating to five stars up from four. You can't beat this thing!

I would only recommend this bracelet to anyone who does distance-based exercise (i.e. trackable by GPS), like walking or running.
If you are a gym rat, a powerlifter or do any other kind of a stationary exercise (including ellipticals, treadmills), this bracelet is not for you.
If you want to track your exercises in a visually stimulating/motivating app, this is not the bracelet for you.
If you want to track your HR accurately, this is not the bracelet for you (but really, at this point, I think none of them are accurate and one must invest in the Apple Watch with the ECG or a strap). For some reason, the HR monitor was pretty spot on in the first couple of weeks but now it's almost random. I can be on the elliptical with an elevated heart rate but the bracelet gives me very low readings.
The sleep tracking is ok and this is the one part of the app that was actually given some thought as it offers you tips on improving sleep. The bracelet itself is pretty comfortable to wear and it is waterproof. The battery life is ok but it will literally die on you with very little warning.
If you want an inexpensive trinket on your wrist to track your runs/walks, this is an ok bracelet, but here I am saving up for an Apple Watch4...
Update. Been using for a couple of weeks and works fine. Just setting up was a pain. Gets GPS almost instantly and tracks me perfectly. Good device eventually.
The other facilities are pretty good. The HRM is okay, but nowhere near as accurate as a Polar with chest strap. I think that is to be expected.
Also, with everything turned on, battery life is a couple of full days. The 7 day claim seems wildly wrong.
