This is the first kids bike I bought, it is very heavy. You need some tools to put it together (a wrench, which for some reason I did not have on hand), it does not come assembled.
The break system is to pedal backwards which confused my 3 years old as he is used to have pedals go free backwards.
If this bike falls on your kid it could really hurt (and my son is not on the smaller side!). I am not familiar with other bikes, we just owned a balance bike prior to this and it's half the weigh.
