This is my first Boxset that I put together from my novels, as they work perfectly together, and this is the series I want readers to know about first! With real-time elections happening in Russia as well, the timing of the series couldn't be more perfect. Of course, long after the actual elections are history, this series will live on, entertaining fans of the spy/political/espionage thriller for decades to come.

With a large cast of characters, rich in individual profile, it is easy to track each one within a book itself and across the series. The settings take place across countries and settings which do not cause confusion.
Without a plethora of words, Tim Heath has the skills to build pictures in the mind which are fully formed. I keep asking myself, “How does he do that?!” But, he does, and with subtlety.
With an ability to write smooth-reading, jam-packed with action, plots that are turned on a dime, these books are mega-enjoyable.
Are there any flaws? Not that I have been able to suss out; believe me, I am a critical reader! Now, you may find one flaw in this review, that being the lack of plot description of these three books. I do not write spoilers; these books deserve a full reading without preconceived notions put forward by myself.
I cannot, like Heath, put into words how good these books are and how much pleasure I derive from them. They are not classifiable as there is mystery, spy-craft, action, murder, manipulation, greed, pride, nationalism, and more contained within each one, but yet each one flows into the other as a brook turns into a waterfall downstream with a rush and a roar.
I am able, without any qualms, to recommend this set to you! Happy reading!
Book 2: This is the second book in The Hunt series and is another exciting piece of intrigue and suspense. The ultra rich and powerful are once again out fighting for more power, more influence and more glory with a greed and disdain for their fellow human that is mind-blowing. Can our two secret agents ever get ahead of those with so much money and influence? Or will they always be chasing shadows but never really seeing the true evil at the hearts of these men of power?
Book 3: The third book in The Hunt series continues the fascinating tale of power and greed in today's Russia. As I moved further into the book it was almost a feeling of mild dread that began building, as if I could sense a whole truck load of nasty oligarchs getting away with murder - literally. Don't worry, I am not imparting any spoilers - there are another three books to come yet!
However the ending was a cliffhanger, and I did get the impression that our heroes in MI6 and the FSB are still chasing their tails a bit trying to bring down these "untouchables" - and taking more and more risks with their own lives in the mean time!
Another totally absorbing chapter in this great series - I can't wait for the next book to come out!
The Hunt The Poison #3 - I had only read The Pride and didn't to get to read the first book, The Prey. The Poison is a cliffhanger! Broke my heart coming to the end. This aside, this is another well written, intriguing novel with a well thought out, twisting, fast paced plot that keeps the reader glued to the pages. The Hunt Series is a substantial read, not to be quickly read, but savored. The reader is immersed in every aspect of the story: the well developed, interesting characters; the realistic dialog; the fast paced, suspense; and the descriptions of locations and events. I have not be disappoint by this author's work, yet.
I contacted the author to review his books and received The Pride, The Poison and the Penny books.
