Hunt Me Down is a Novella set in the Gingham Lakes world and part of the Fight For Me series. It was originally published in the Glamour Anthology and was called Red Hot Pursuit. I totally love the name change to Hunt Me Down, it works so well with the story!
We're introduced to Broderick Wolfe who's trying to acquire a property that is close to Lilith Redd's heart. Broderick and Lilith have incredible sexual chemistry from the first moment they meet. Broderick is your typical hot arrogant guy and Lilith, your stubborn and strong female.
I feel for both of these characters straight away! Broderick was everything I love in a 'Bad Boy' and Lilith also known as Lily had all the spunk that I love in my heroines!
What I really loved about Hunt Me Down was even though it was a novella that could be read as a standalone, it was still a complete story. It didn't feel rushed or incomplete. It still had as much tension, emotion and plot as it would have if it had been a full length novel. The development of the relationship between Brody and Lily felt like it moved at a really great pace and the sexual tension was palpable. There were moments where i had to sit down the book and fan the blush off my face!
Even though Hunt me Down can be read as a standalone I would still highly recommend reading Show Me The Way as well! Hunt Me Down is a great addition to the Fight For Me series and I'm so excited to read the rest of this series!
Beneath each of their tough exteriors are two hearts who have unexpectedly found the match they never even saw coming. I fell hard for both of these characters and their dedication to doing things the right way even when it didn't always seem that way.
A must read that has a bit of an introduction to the next Jackson hero, who I know will join a long line of bbfs courtesy of the author.
5 solid stars!
4.5 Poison Apples
