I really enjoyed this game from the very beginning. I have to admit, I did start playing it at first because it is hard to find female characters in co-op fighting games. Big fan of L4D, HALO REACH, and Perfect Dark. We like couch co-op games to enjoy together. In Hunted, the Elvin female archer has a good repertoire with her male companion, which is silly at times. The graphics are really cool.
This is one of my favorites co-ops, because after finishing the adventure on different levels, the game remains new with each crucible you make. Your own games can be published online. There are a lot already made, so it never gets too old. Right now I am killing bugs EDF!, but I will be back to Hunted, trying to make some hard Crucible games to see if my boyfriend can survive them... :)
I got to say to me this games art design is great. I like the dark fantasy and the character design of the female elf is perfect. Usually I would like to create my own character, but the female elf is better than I could create. I also like the dialog between the elf and the bald warrior caddoc.
I also like that you can shoot the bow like a gun. You actually have a sight and with some bows can zoom. You can also use cover like a shooter. It is a pretty fast paced shooter type feel for a fantasy hack and slash.
I like using the elf and playing as a shooter.
Story is good, lots of cool cut scenes.
I have finished the game with one ending for the ps3 and now am trying for the other ending on the xbox. So far I like the gameplay better on the xbox.
The game has lots of enemies and mini bosses and bosses and there are also puzzles that are optional. I skipped these puzzles the 1st time mostly, but am trying them out now and they are pretty fun.
Also the locations are huge. I have played about 3hrs or so to get to the second stage. There is lots of cool locations like dungeons, towns, forests etc.
Check out some videos for this. Hunted really has a unique look. Very cool too me. Not your cookie cutter fantasy world.
